Champion Her! A Banner Night for Girls Inc!

An epic night of support was unleashed at the 2019 Power of the Purse, championing for girls throughout the Pacific Northwest to be strong, smart, and bold.

The competition was fierce at this year's Power of the Purse, Presented by First Tech Federal Credit Union, as a sold out crowd rallied at the Portland Downtown Hilton to become champions for girls! Inspiring girls to find value in themselves, discover and develop their inherent strengths, and go boldly towards the future of their dreams.

More than $420,000 was raised that evening as guests competed wildly for thirteen signature purses designed by a host of profoundly talented and beloved makers in partnership with treasured and inspiring community champions. A roaring round of support ensued in favor of one such purse by Jessica Mozeico of Et Fille wines and Maria Sosa, as a generous bidding war over the functional and stylish wine country inspired bag resulted in the highest selling purse in Girls Inc. history, yielding $11,000!
