Paddles Fly High At The Largest Art Auction In The Pacific Northwest.

The 31st Annual CAP Art Auction presented by Wells Fargo, was a white hot affair. Long time champions of Cascade AIDS Project joined together alongside the exquisite Poison Waters, and Honorary Chairs, Monique Matheson & Kate Lieber to celebrate the power of art, the power of community, and the power of CAP's programs and services which work to support and empower all people with or affected by HIV, reduce stigma, and provide the LGBTQ+ community with compassionate healthcare.

Auctioneer, Johnna Lee Wells rolled with swift speed and expert action through an exuberantly celebrated showcase of support throughout the Live Auction. Featuring a curated collection of 19 celebrated artists, including Portland's beloved, Tom Cramer, Dale Chihuly, D.E. May, and many more. As artist, Jim Riswold's "Basquiat Dies and Gets Famous & Basquiat Gets Famous and Dies" crossed the auction block, a hearty competition of fervent bid activity ensued, as the price rapidly escalated to a record breaking winning bid of $17,250.
